We had such a lovely time! The breakfast was always good, especially the pastries and espresso. Plus, the shuttle service was a lifesaver for exploring Sorrento! Just a heads up, the pool was smaller than it looked in the pictures but still enjoyable.

I have just returned from a holiday at this wonderful hotel in Sorrento everything was perfect, the service was incredible, the staff extremely professional - the whole place was impeccable. There are over 50 review for this Hotel and the majority of which are exceedingly good, this is the main reason why I chose to stay there. I was therefore extremely surprised to find some negative review regarding the position. The fact that the hotel is 7 kilometres from the town centre is stated everywhere and again why I chose to stay there, it's position is perfect, a peaceful setting with views to die for but at the same time just 20 minutes from Positano, Capri and Pompeii. personally before booking holiday we do our research and make sure we know all there is to know about a place before actually reserving a room. So we obviously knew before booking the hotel last year that it was in a wonderfully peaceful area on the hillside away from all the hustle and bustle of the town centre, exactly what we were looking for! Because of the hotel's position we decided to hire a car but to be quite honest, with the hotel shuttle and the local bus service which stops right outside the hotel, we ended up leaving the car in the hotel car park (free) most of the time. There is a guestbook in the reception area and it is literally overflowing with compliments for the staff, they made us feel completely at home, nothing was too much trouble for them.

A stay filled with surprises
Waking each morning to amazing views of the Amalfi coast was such a joy. The attentive staff treated us like family. Our adventures was superb!
The shuttle service was a bit infrequent, made planning our outings challenging. We had to coordinate ahead to secure rides, limiting some spontaneity.

The shuttle bus into Sorrento was very reliable. The hotel staff could not have done enough for us during our stay. Our room was cleaned everyday and the view from the room was truly beautiful.

We used an iphone to book this hotel on location. We arrived four hours before our checkin time and were welcomed and allowed to our room straight away as it was already ready. The hotel is lovely, the staff are very friendly (all speak english if it helps). The location is not a problem as there is a free shuttle bus throughout the day so you can benefit from the quiet location but still see Sorrento. The off site restaurant was lovely however we were lot in translation a couple of times which resulted in me getting a whole bottle of wine instead of half and a slightly different main course, however this did not matter at all!
The only disappointment was one of the snacks ordered at the pool, all were fantastic apart from some horrid fried potato dish. However this is but a tiny blemish on a lovely day and evening.

Totally recommend for a city break
Fine view, comfortable room, and excellent breakfast made our stay good, especially enjoying the seasonal outdoor pool and the complimentary shuttle service, made exploring the city convenient.
No complaints.

The location was amazing and favourable, near the mountains from Sorrento, and the centre of Sorrento. Easily reached Pasticceria la Dolce Arte, located within walking distance of the hotel, had lunch/dinner there. The room was immaculately clean and huge and offered a shower, hairdryers and a bidet, so that guests had essentials. Private bathroom was clean...

The hotel was right up at the top of the hills between Sorrento and Positano, so the views were magnificent in all directions. Due to its remote location, it was difficult to get to Sorrento or Amalfi by bus and a cab was out of our price range. Local buses can be packed so may not stop to pick up. The staff were helpful and pleasant.

Perfect for Couples Relaxing
We loved the sunset drinks at the rooftop terrace , it was amazing and a moment I'll never forget! Also , the staff were really nice for us , especially when they set up a surprise birthday celebration for my partner , touching stuff.
It was a bit pricey but you know what they say, you get what you pay for.

We visited Positano and Amalfi, and booked through a local company, made every detail easy. The chauffeur was fantastic, putting us on the right way for a safe and comfy ride. The beautiful room was perfect for our special celebration, and the pool area offered fine views.
One downside was the limited shuttle transfers available-make sure to plan ahead and reserve transportation options.

We loved the staff! Of all the places we have stayed, we have never encountered staff that were this friendly, accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. If you stay here I highly recommend the local restaurant (free shuttle provided). We tried it the first night and returned for the next two nights of our stay! Excellent!
Our only (minor) gripe is that the beds are very firm but this seems to be the norm across Italy...

View is exceptional: from the pool and the bar you can see Naples and its bay, Positano on the Amalfi coast, Capri and Ischia. Location is very good as long as you are ok to drive to go to downtown Sorrento. Anyway, either you book a room in one of the extremely expensive palaces overlooking the port, or you are better off there, because of the view. All amenities were as expected, including wifi everywhere.
Nothing we did not like!

We enjoyed the views from the balcony and the roof terrace although traffic noise was a minor problem during the day, the staff at the hotel were so helpful and cheerful, we both felt really comfortable there. I think this has to do with the smallness of the hotel, this led to a friendly and relaxed feel. The pool area would be lovely in the summer and the gardens and the roof terrace were lovely in October when we stayed. The shuttle bus was so handy and the location of the bus stops just outside were very handy for visiting Amalfi and Positano and getting back and forth from Sorrento at odd times.
I was disappointed with the size of the room but it is fairly typical of an italian hotel. Also the size of the bar off the foyer, whic wasnt really big enough for more than two couples at any time, other than that we were happy with the hotel and the service which was lovely.
